"This worldly existence, having been torn apart by a few supremacy-centric personalities, have forcibly drawn the civilians into the cross-fire of hatred and vengeance and thereupon trying and vying for supremacy on the very heaps of death and destruction. Poetry may not give us bread and butter

But gives every life, a delight to feel better;

It firmly acts like a silent communicator,

Penetrates the inner vision of many a reader.

Poetry can promote peace, devoid of region

It can as well neutralize many sorts of tension,

Poet aspires every human to live with ‘dignity’,

Poetry stirs many a heart to bloom with ‘amity’.

An eye-opener and a motivator of humanity,

A poet can sow stirring weeds of generosity,

Reaping the nectarine fruits of universality,

A poet can stir and remove hatred and enmity.

Weaving words that open the mind’s gateway

With inspiring verses that unveil new pathways;

By implanting the infinite potentiality of words,

Poetry discloses the visible and invisible world.

May the pen of every poet echo with peace

May the poetry of every poet bestow solace;

Inspiring the thoughts with writings fearless,

Let poetry become a ray of hope in darkness.
