He went to a place where it was quiet

and calm. A place where Silence ruled.

A place that was welcoming and warm.

And he listened to the sweet and low.

The need to go. So much to know.

The Silence spoke from its maze of

mystery. It said many things to him.

It had its own way of knowing that he

had come at the right and proper time.

Silence sublime. Reason and rhyme.

The Silence spoke of the past, present

and future. It spoke to his soul. Such

was the way of Silence, which held back

only insofar as pupils un-prepped, unready.

Matters so heady. Stately and steady.

The Silence said his day had arrived.

Peaceful the pose. Empowered the press.

Forward he had moved and forward

now he was in measures to remain.

To gauge and to gain. Never to refrain.

He gave the Silence a series of sighs,

taking leave transformed and touched.

The option to return his as he willed it.

And will it, he knew for sure that he would.
