Obra Maestra - Today's Brilliant Contemporary and Modern Artist for Visual Arts: Madame Mehrangiz Talaiezadeh
Another friend of mine is a great visual artist and she is no other than Madame Mehrangiz Talaiezadeh of Iran.
Mehrangiz Talaiezadeh is an internationally acclaimed Iranian hyper-realist figurative and still life painter, poetess, and retired English teacher. She was born in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Mehrangiz pursued her education in English language teaching at Shiraz University and earned her MA in Universal Linguistics from Tehran University.
Despite being self-taught in many abstract painting styles, including Iranian miniature style and impressionism, Mehrangiz eventually found her true passion in hyper-realism. She is renowned for her ability to delicately paint intricate details, much like the hidden metaphors in her poetry, which she believes are closely related to the colors and patterns of her paintings.
In 2020, Mehrangiz received certificates for professional theoretical and practical drawing and painting courses with excellent grades from the International Technical and Professional Organization in Iran. In 2023, she also earned certificates for professional theoretical and practical teaching drawing and painting courses from the Islamic Guidance Department in Tehran.
Mehrangiz has been officially invited by the Education Department of Iran to teach painting and drawing to children and adults in schools for 12 years. She has participated in numerous Iranian and international painting competitions, often securing first place, and has served as a judge in many Iranian painting contests.
Currently, she is undergoing professional coaching courses under the supervision of highly esteemed professors from the International Technical and Professional Organization in Iran. She has twice been honored with first place in painting teaching method competitions by the Ministry of Education of Iran.
Since 2020, Mehrangiz has expanded her artistic activities internationally, participating in many visual and virtual exhibitions and festivals. Her works have been showcased in various countries, including Argentina, Hungary, Egypt, Ecuador, Iran, India, Iraq, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Pakistan, the Philippines, Peru, Spain, South Korea, Turkey, the USA, the Netherlands, Norway, Mexico, Morocco, Malaysia, North America, and more.
Mehrangiz's artworks have been published in international newspapers, magazines, and art books. She is a multi-awarded artist, art judge, and art adviser both in her country and internationally. She continues to hope that one day she will create a new style of neo-hyper-realism in the art world and present it to the art community.
Mehrangiz Talaiezadeh's artistry is a testament to the belief that painting is visible poetry and poetry is an audible painting. Through her art, she aspires to inspire and bring beauty to the world.
She always thinks that there is a close relationship between the words of her poems and the colors and patterns of her paintings. She thinks that painting is visible poetry and poetry is an audible painting.
Mehrangiz Talaizadeh tries to paint details very delicately in her paintings, just as in her poems. You can see the same deep hidden metaphorical subtleties. She hopes to create the new neo-hyper-realism style in the world of art in the future.
Madame Mehrangiz Talaiezadeh's obra maestra is entitled " The Girl in a Floral Scarf". It is beautifully crafted with the implementation of deep and vivid colors. She did hyper-realistic style, wherein the aesthetic effect of the painting and mastery in creating the details of the work are given more emphasis and focus. Colors are exaggeratedly used in her painting that resulted in a color interplay which she referred to as "color excitement".
