Obra Maestra - Today's Brilliant Contemporary and Modern Artist for Visual Arts: Madame Maria Elvia Hernandez Vazquez

I got to know Madame Maria Elvia Hernandez Vazquez via CIESART International/Global Organization. We are both international members of this global literary and arts organization. She's one of the very active members always sharing her artworks both in literature and visual arts through her poems and paintings. And I must say, she's one of the best artists that excels in those Arts genres. Today, let's get to know more about her as an artist and as a person. And I'm honored and very happy to feature her on my weblog as one of the best contemporary and modern artists for Visual Arts.

María Elvia Hernández Vázquez, known as Elvia Vázquez, hails from the State of Hidalgo, Mexico. She studied at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where she earned the Gabino Barreda Medal, awarded to the most outstanding student of each generation, as well as diplomas for high academic performance each semester.

From an early age, Elvia exhibited a keen interest in the fine arts, including writing, painting, photography, and sculpture. She has pursued these passions across various locations over the years. Elvia has participated in creating stories, poetry, and narratives inspired by her professional experiences. She has authored two books: "Pluma de Quetzal" (a narrative about Mesoamerican cultures) and "Algarabia," a collection of poems and other writings. In her work, Elvia captures the intricacies of a society full of labyrinths with a photographic and pictorial lens, highlighting different angles of poetry in a simple and free manner.

Elvia has also contributed to four anthologies on various topics. She actively participates in several groups focused on poetry, narrative, and painting, including the branches of Utopía Poética Universal, Poetas Unidos por el Mundo, and CIESART in France, Ecuador, and Peru.

Her artistic talents have been recognized by CIESART with nominations in four categories: All Fine Arts, Painting and Artistic Creativity, The Venice Award for showcasing Mexican customs, and The Gold Scroll for showcasing free-form writing. Elvia has received certificates and diplomas from CIESART France and the International Chamber of Writers and Artists for various ongoing calls for submissions and narrative competitions. She has consistently achieved top positions in CIESART France, earning honorary diplomas and certificates, among other awards.

María Elvia Hernández Vázquez continues to inspire through her dedication to the arts and her ability to weave intricate narratives that reflect the beauty and complexity of life.

Madame Maria Elvia Hernandez Vazquez's obra maestra is an oil painting that depicts the humanity's quest and longing for total freedom. Her painting is entitled " Quest for Freedom".
